JOB DESCRIPTION

An employer in the San Antonio, TX area is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. On a daily basis they will be preparing batches of invoices for data entry/scanning and doing quality checks on scanned invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness. Additional duties are as follows: Research vendor statements/past due notices/unidentified mail, maintain filing system for all financial documents, and prepare account reconciliations as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years of AP experience (prefer some experience in high volume environment)
• Basic Excel skill level
• Ability to organize and process large volume of invoices (i.e. average of 150 – 200 invoices per day)
• Detail oriented – ability to recognize/process various invoice types (i.e., utility invoices, recurring service invoices, operating expense invoices)
• Ability to research (statements, past due balances etc.)
• Team player qualities (reliable, communicate with confidence, adapts quickly/easily, ability to work on projects collaboratively)
