Job Description

Payments

• Inputs and processes all tax-related remittances.
• Reviews and approves vendor payment transactions via ACH, wires, credit card, and checks.
• Processes new purchasing and T & E cardholder requests.
• Monitors the status of all vendor-related transactions to ensure timely remittance.
• Tracks the company’s T & E and vendor expenditures, including maintenance of database, including monthly report to Senior Management and other leadership upon request.
• Leads and/or assists with AP-related projects and/or enhancements.
• Participates in IT sprint planning, prioritization and testing of all AP system enhancements/changes.
• Reviews and approves general ledger entries, as necessary.
• Produces and remits 1099 reporting (only Dec/Jan timeframe).

Security Administration

• Maintains access authorizations granted to company employees for internal, A/P related systems.
• Maintains internal authorization levels of employees, as it relates to invoice approvals.

Financial Reporting/Audit

• Reviews and analyzes various reports to support monthly, quarterly and annual general ledger closing process.
• Establishes, documents, and maintains AP policies and procedures to ensure adequate efficiencies and controls, including compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Researches and provides responses to audit and regulatory requests.

Additional Responsibilities

• Recommends processes to maximize accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of treasury activities.
• Supports the Treasury team and other departments on an as needed basis.
• Willingly takes on additional responsibilities as requested in order to accomplish department and company objectives.
• Actively participates and contributes to the goals and objectives of the department and company by working collaboratively and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
