Confidential Hiring for Operations Manager for Giftware Wholesaler Job at Charlotte Amalie, VI Full Time

We design upscale giftware that is shipped throughout the Caribbean and United States. Our firm is seeking a courteous, professional operations manager to oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience managing a small business with many moving parts. Warehouse and wholesale experience as plus. Must be capable of scheduling employees, using analytical skills to solve problems and have strong leaderships skills. This is a hands-on position with a focus on planning, scheduling and supervising while balancing office duties. The successful candidate should be willing to wear multiple hats as needed. Must have the ability to handle high volume/busy operations.

*Must have a minimum of 5 years management experience in wholesale warehousing, retail, grocery or equivalent.

*Coordinate warehouse to ensure orders are pulled accurately and delivered in a timely manner.

*Follow through with Warehouse Manager ensuring paperwork and maintenance procedures are followed.

*Devise methods to reduce and prevent inventory shrinkage.

*Assess and analyze operations to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits.

*Coordinate with the production department to ensure production comes on schedule.

*Recruiting, inspiring and guiding employees to perform their best.

*Liason between senior management, warehouse and clients.

*Identify potentional problems and find solutions to maximize efficiency and revenues.

*Handle logistics for inbound shipments. Opportunity to assist with purchasing if desired.

*Office duties include Accounts Receivable (most of our deliveries are COD), and some payables.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
