*Job description* *Primary Responsibilities* * Maintain waste paper supplier accounts through phone calls, meetings. * Determine offer prices using company’s pricing guidelines and tools. * Negotiate price and place orders. * Settle claims. * Gather market information and communicate effectively with team members and managers. * Develop new sources of supply. * Maintain relationships, resolve issues, and conduct negotiations with suppliers as necessary. * Perform site visits regularly and cover all accounts in this region for quality control spot check, using meter to take moisture reading (training/device provided) and walk-around to estimate contamination; complete inspection report and communicate to responsible parties. * Work effectively and professional with inter-departmental personnel. *Minimum Qualifications/Requirements* * 2+ years’ experience as a buyer, purchaser, procurement, quality control or sales. * Bachelor’s degree preferred. * Excellent analysis and negotiation skills. * Ability to research and review data. * Verifiable experience developing and managing supply sources. * Ability to travel to sites to perform QC spot checks. * Proficiency with Office 365, Word, Excel, email and related software applications. * Experience and proficiency with purchasing/buying related applications. * Superior verbal, written and presentation skills. *Miscellaneous* * Salary/Compensation: Exempt; Targeted salary $8,000 per month (based upon experience and skills) + Bonus * Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible to participate in the company’s medical, dental, vision and 401K plans; 10 days’ vacation per year Job Type: Full-time Experience: * buyer, purchaser, procurement, quality control or sales.: 2 years (Required)
