Description
Concert Technologies, a leader in the Technology Deployment industry, is currently looking for candidates to fill our Accounts Payable Clerk/Accounts Payable Facilitator position onsite at our office in Dulles, VA.
The Accounts Payable Facilitator is responsible for receiving and reviewing incoming invoices, distributing them to the correct department for payment approval, and entering them into the Company’s accounting systems while ensuring accuracy. The Accounts Payable Facilitator coordinates payment for invoices and ensures they are paid timely and correctly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Works with Project Managers to get invoices approved for payment.
· Researches as needed to locate any missing invoices.
· Communicates with necessary parties on invoice discrepancies and tracks outstanding items.
· Research open items and vendor disputes as needed.
· Responds to all vendor inquiries.
· Records invoices in the accounting systems in an accurate and timely manner.
· Maintains all accounts payable files.
· Assists in Accounts Payable monthly closings.
· Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
· Eligible to work in the US.
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Associate’s Degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
· Minimum 6 months related experience in Accounts Payable.
· Experienced in common commercial software programs (MS Office, Adobe, etc.).
· Knowledge of Accounting Software; Sage 100 preferred.
· Exceptional organizational skills & strong attention to detail.
· Ability to maintain meticulous records.
· Ability to always maintain confidentiality.
This is an on-site position with hours of Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, and is in Dulles, VA.
