Job Summary
Columbus State University (CSU) is
accepting applications for the position of Assistant Director of Residence Life – Community Development. The Assistant Director of Residence
Life – Community Development reports to the Director of Residence Life and provides leadership to daily operations, which include Main
Campus, RiverPark, and Maryland Circle housing areas. The AD for Community Development is responsible for the development of programs and
activities for both main and RiverPark Campuses. They are also responsible for and coordinates all recruitment, selection, and training of
all student staff positions for the Residence Life Department. Responsibilities also include participation in all departmental planning and
activities, and involvement on university
committees.

Required
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in Student Personnel, Higher Education,
Counseling, or a related field and 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Residence Life; and/or an equivalent combination of education
and relevant experience. The successful candidate must have considerable knowledge of university housing policies and procedures; excellent
interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills; excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills; working
knowledge of MS office products and the internet; and the ability to perform job tasks and maintain area of responsibility with a superior
level of autonomy.
Proposed Salary
The annualized
salary range for this position is $53,723 – $59,314 and includes full
benefits.
