Job Description

The IT Specialist will provide front line troubleshooting of technology with timely processing of printed materials.

Responsibilities Include:

• Serves as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone or email
• Work with vendors for maintenance and repair of hardware and software
• Install and make changes and repair computer hardware and software
• Ability to image computers, net new, refresh, repair
• Determines the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
• Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
• Maintain inventory of all supplies: paper, ink, envelopes, etc.
• Interact with company Managers, Supervisors and employees for maintenance of forms design, processing and delivery methods
• Use check systems to process, print, log and deliver various types of company checks
• Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
• Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
• Provide accurate information on IT products or services
• Record events, problems, and their resolution in logs
• Follow-up and update customer status and information
• Pass feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
• Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
• Able to provide after-hours support as needed

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in help desk technician role or similar
• 3+ years of experience Windows operating systems troubleshooting
• 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Office 365
• Hardware troubleshooting experience
• Openness to learning new technologies
• Excellent customer service skills
• Detail oriented in order to keep notes on tickets
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to explain technical concepts and procedures to non-technical users
• Familiarity with configuring and maintaining AnyQueue print management platform or similar product is preferred
