Job Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching General Microbiology and non-majors Biology courses. Possible additional offerings depend on the expertise and preference of the successful candidate and could include other biology classes as determined by the college.
Primary teaching assignments will be on the Tulare campus of College of the Sequoias and may include evening classes. Participation in the governance of the Sequoias Community College District by way of committee assignments is encouraged.
Other responsibilities include maintenance of office hours, participation in department and/or division responsibilities, and the willingness to create and participate in and sustain an atmosphere of equity, which is respectful of diversity Districtwide.
