Sequoias Community College District is seeking candidates who are qualified and equity-minded to fill two positions in the English Department: One position is a full-time tenure-track position and the other position is a temporary, one-year, full-time, non-renewable position. Both positions beginning August 2024.

Job Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching classes in reading and composition, critical thinking, literature, and corequisite support classes.
Assignments may include evening hours and teaching at any of the Sequoias Community College District campuses: Visalia, Hanford and/or Tulare. Participation in the governance of the Sequoias Community College District by way of committee assignments is encouraged.
Other responsibilities include maintenance of office hours, participation in department and/or division responsibilities, and the willingness to create and participate in and sustain an atmosphere of equity, which is respectful of diversity Districtwide.
