Job Summary
The Senior Instructional Technology Coordinator position is part of Office of Online Learning and reports to the Dean of Online Learning. This position coordinates the adoption and continuous improvement of instructional technology at the College of Eastern Idaho (CEI) and fosters collaborative relationships with stakeholders at the department, institution, and state level. This position is responsible for championing the interests of the college as well as the Office of the State Board of Education (OSBE) in support of statewide digital learning initiatives such as Online Idaho.
This position is responsible for the management, planning, and implementation of various projects related to technology-enhanced teaching and learning. Because the scope of relevant projects may be institution-specific, interinstitutional, or statewide, the Senior Coordinator successfully navigates complexity by applying best practices in project management and aligning project outcomes with the mission and goals of the college. This position serves as a liaison to OSBE as well as various departments of the college, including the Office of the Registrar, Financial Aid, Student Affairs, and Marketing. All duties will be performed in accordance with the CEI policies and procedures, as well as all US state and federal laws and regulations.
This position will be a remote position and applicant must be a resident of the State of Idaho.
This is a temporary state funded position thru the end of fiscal year of June 2023. Position will be reevaluated at that time.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions. The employee will spend majority of hours working on a computer.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing and data entry is required, as is the ability to deliver instruction. This would require the ability to lift files or instructional materials, open filing cabinets, bend or stand as necessary.
