Accountabilities:
The Residential Life Summer Intern is a bachelor’s-required position that provides administrative and project-based support. Preferred candidates will have a minimum two years experience in a Community Leader or Resident Advisor role. Job accountabilities include:
This position is a live-on position to assist with summer student move-in and move-out processes. Housing is a studio apartment in a residential facility.
Administrative office support such as answering phones, inventorying supplies and keys, assisting with summer check-in and check-out, attending staff meetings, etc.
Projects such as reviewing aspects of Community Leader training and development, the Community Leader role, providing input on residential space, creating resources for student staff, conducting assessment projects, etc.
Partnering with other offices and/or departments on other projects or assignments.
Additional projects and/or administrative tasks may be assigned based on office need and staff interest.
Professional Experience/ Qualifications:
Minimum of two years experience as a Community Leader / Resident Advisor.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
