Colby Community College is accepting applications for the Vice President of Business Affairs to serve as the
school’s chief financial officer with responsibility for the college business services and operations. The Vice President of Business
Affairs is a member of the senior leadership team reporting directly to the President.
The successful candidate will direct,
monitor, and oversee all college financial operations including administration, planning, and communications. Primary among these
responsibilities is the maintenance of sound fiscal policy, effective financial controls, and institutional budgeting. In addition to
ascertaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, the Vice President of Business Affairs is responsible for all budgetary
and financial procedures for the college including payroll, purchasing, inventory, investments and insurance. Integrity, innovative
thinking, a sense of humor, understanding of the rural community college, and the ability to work as a team is necessary. The selected
individual must be an active part of not only the College but also the community.
COMPENSATION
$85,000-$100,000.
Flexible benefits program includes options for single and family health and dental coverage, life insurance,
reimbursement accounts, sick leave, and vacation leave allowances. Participation in the state retirement program is required.
