The Compensation Lead Analyst will have direct impact on key compensation processes, including, but not limited to, quarterly, the mid-year and year-end total compensation planning cycles, salary structures, market data, reporting, reconciliation, and other compensation analytics.
Participate in compensation surveys
Conduct job evaluations ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with company’s compensation policies and procedures.
Develop recurring and adhoc compensation reports, metrics and dashboards.
Develop and maintain position description databases.
Conduct routine audits of the organizational position structure to identify titling, grading, and job code assignments that are out of line with company’s compensation policies/practices.
Assist with the development of compensation related training to various stakeholders.
Assist with impact and risk analysis to determine business and sales team overall impact.
Partner with HR systems and CMS Technology to identify, test, and implement salary/incentive planning tool enhancements in support of compensation processes and programs, regular updates within the CMS system and identify updates.
Clarify and interpret compensation practices/guidelines and provide consultation to the sales team and managers, via a ticketing system, verbally and in writing, across a wide variety of compensation issues.
Manager stakeholder relationships.
Assist with the day to day regional case management.
Conduct data analysis and case management.
Manage regional escalations in a timely manner.
Oversee training and skill development within the regional compensation team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Mathematics, Finance, Human Resources or equivalent combination of education, training and or relevant work experience.
Overall experience of 7 years & 1 to 3 years as a Team Lead managing Compensation & Benefits operations
Strong consulting skills with all levels of management and the ability to articulate concepts and organizational perspectives in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to work independently, achieve deliverables within tight timeframes, and work effectively in a diverse, collaborative environment.
Strong focus on quality of work and attention to detail.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
Experience with CRM tools and case management.
Working knowledge of HR and CMS systems
Experience of managing a team of Sales Compensation Analyst
Open to work in 24 * 7 shifts & on call rotation
Must have experience in Sales Comp & Benefits department , HR Shared Services with Comp & Benefit background from a Captive unit for instance (Barclays, Amex, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, GE)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Certified Compensation Professional or progress towards certification
SuccessFactors Compensation Module experience
PayFactors
SAP query/reporting experience
Proficient with Google Workspace with advanced knowledge of data analytics via PLX scripts and PowerPoint
Advanced knowledge of Google sheet formulas that facilitate manipulating large amounts of data
Experience creating SQL scripts to extract quantitative data.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $46,030 – $77,150 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
