Responsibilities:
· Supports internal and external customers in the Cable/Telco area by providing onsite technical support.
· Trouble shoots and supports automated test stations and implements immediate repairs, while displaying exceptional professionalism, outstanding communication skills and top-notch customer service.
· Resolves customer issues related to set top testing, handling all levels of product trouble shooting, which may require working with a test bench evaluating cabling, hardware and/or computer systems.
· Identify, track, document and communicate service-related issues and outcome.
· Ability to work flexible hours to meet customer demand.
· Able to create simple flow charts, drawing to document process changes, workflow, new projects.
· Ability to work with team other team members to understand and resolve problems on a timely manner.
· Ability to implement root cause corrective action.
· Ability to provide remote support with little to no help from other department.
· Ability to update and support changes on simple support tools like Wiki, new relic etc.
· Work with little to no supervision and establish clear communication on project /assignment progress
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Minimum 2-year degree preferably in Electronics Technician/ Technologist or related discipline, certification in a technology field, or equivalent combination of formal training and work experience required.
· Experience in electronics troubleshooting/repair preferred.
· Familiar with Telco industry including set top box theory, DOCSIS, modems, VOIP, headend both DAC and DCNS is a plus.
· Functional knowledge of Microsoft office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio etc. as well as Internet and LAN technology.
· Should have established communication skills at all levels, have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, hardworking, be a team player and able to work in a team environment.

Daily Production floor work environment with industry leading test equipment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift 25lbs and walk production floor as needed
SAFETY & REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
Working knowledge of Safety Compliance (OSHA, and state and local agencies)
