JOB OBJECTIVE
The Information Systems (IS) Technician will perform a variety of information systems implementation and support tasks under the direct supervision of the IT Helpdesk Supervisor. The IS Technician will adhere to and promote compliance with the organizations IT policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBLITIES
The IS Technician is responsible for performing the following duties:
– Provides end-user support and provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance of systems hardware and application software.
– Installs and supports PC workstation and server hardware, operating system software, business application and office productivity software
– Troubleshoots and restores systems functionality and access to network resources
– Assists with data backup and recovery tasks
– Supports clinical data tracking and reporting activities
– Works with employees to gather and communicate systems issues
– Provides guidance to employees on the proper and effective use of office productivity tools, business applications and shared file and printing services
– Demonstrates proper use of workstation operating systems tools
– Interacts in a professional manner and works collaboratively with Clinicas’ staff and patients
– Provides excellent customer service to patients, vendors and employees
– Performs other duties as assigned including participation in all safety programs, which may include assignment to an emergency response team
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
– Associates degree in a computer related field or equivalent of 5 years of experience.
– Minimum two years’ work experience in a computer related business setting.
– Hands-on experience installing and supporting Microsoft Windows 1011 and Windows related applications.
– Network+ and A+ certifications; Microsoft Certified Professional certification or equivalent academic curriculum are preferred.
– Solid communication and interpersonal skills; ability to function in a collaborative and supportive environment; sensitivity to others; high integrity; excellent judgment; ability to conceptualize, launch and perform multiple tasks; ability to independently carry out tasks to completion.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,600.00 – $52,000.00 per year
