Responsible for managing the financial & physical performance of the production and storage facility, skilled in all aspects of cheesemaking operations. Assists implementing the short and long term business plans. Other duties as assigned
JOB DUTIES:
60% – Essential – Operations: Oversees business operations of retail online storefront; responsible for sales of retail and wholesale merchandise; oversees and processes on-line and catalogue orders; answers and responds to customer requests; responsible for inventory and stocking of retail items and other store supplies; prepares monthly sales and revenue reports; responsible for strategic marketing; directs student employees.
20% – Essential – Track financial performance, analyze sales data, and prepare financial reports. Manage pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
10% – Essential – Explore new markets and distribution channels. Monitor industry trends and competition to stay competitive.
10% – Essential – Customer Relations: Establish strong customer relationships, handle inquiries, and address concerns. Seek customer feedback and use it to improve products and services.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Associate’s degree in business management, retail sales management, or related field and customer service or retail sales experience. A high school diploma and work experience in a related field may substitute for the required associate degree, on a year for year basis.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Education – 1st Bachelor’s Degree – Business, food science, or a related field
