Serve as Garrison Arena representative and point of contact during contracted/scheduled events. Follows protocol to ensure facilities are prepared and maintained during events. Other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
40% – Essential – Event Preparation:
Follow defined protocols for varied events to establish lighting, sound, seating, and show ring preparations in multiple venues at the Arena complex.
30% – Essential – Facility maintenance:
Ensure facilities are clean before and during daily events. This includes janitorial duties in assembly areas, and waste management(trash) in animal housing areas.
15% – Essential – Grounds maintenance:
Operate farm equipment to prepare show rings for multiple disciplines. Move and set up equipment using skid steer loader. Operate water truck for non-potable water used for irrigation of show rings. Stall turnover.
10% – Essential – Safety/security:
Identify public safety risks and perform corrective maintenance. Inspect all building and grounds daily for repair and maintenance requirements.
5% – Essential – Public service:
Provide area/local information for exhibitors for area attractions, University information, and facility information.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education – High School or Equivalent – Custodial or groundskeeping experience..
Licenses – Drivers License Class D normal Work Exp 1+ years

WORK SCHEDULE:
Standard Hours: 28; Expected Salary Range ($13.50 – $15.00)
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate¿s previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson¿s compensation guidelines.

Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
