Clayton State University seeks a skilled and collaborative individual to join the Enrollment Management Team as part of our Admission’s team. This position’s primary responsibility will be to provide oversight of the enrollment administrative services for the office of recruitment and admissions. This role will report to the Admissions Director. This position will interview, hire, train, supervise, and coordinate office schedules among staff, student assistants, and federal work study students to ensure perspective student questions are answered timely and efficiently. This position will work with marketing, orientation, and other office departments to coordinate special events to include open house and preview day.
Responsibilities
Provide oversight of the enrollment administrative services for the office of recruitment and admissions.
Interview, hire, train, supervise, and coordinate office schedules among staff, student assistants, and federal work study students to ensure perspective student questions are answered timely and efficiently.
Provide administrative support to the Office of Enrollment Services and Admissions to include scheduling and tracking appointments, coordinating paperwork, ensuring preparation for meetings making travel arrangements and answering routine correspondence.
Provide support in the areas of presentations, purchasing, and admissions/recruiting data reporting. Research and compile data to produce required reports; assists in coordinating special projects for the department.
Answer recruiting and admissions questions via phone, email, and in person.
Interacts with University community and other university contacts on behalf of admissions and recruiting to request and provide information.
Complete routine reports related to travel, ordering supplies, expense reports, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree Required, Master’s Preferred
Other Required Qualifications
Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
Required Experience
Two years of directly related experience or a combination of experience and education in a college or university setting
