The City of Peoria’s Development & Engineering Department has excellent opportunities for a Plans Examiner II. This position will provide advanced technical and paraprofessional building review support. This is accomplished by preparing and completing plan reviews of complex buildings, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical for compliance. The reviews will involve structural construction documents and reports for commercial, industrial, and residential projects to ensure compliance with applicable adopted codes, city ordinances, and construction standards.
