At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. Our team is seeking a Senior Advisor who has the ability to manage many of our diverse process improvement initiatives. This individual will assess, monitor and enhance execution performance of CPCCo in support of our many diverse projects. Our mission is to reduce wasteful processes, implement cost savings, and leverage our contract funding dollars to achieve more of the Hanford mission. A day in the life of the CPCCo Senior Advisor involves the following:
* Key point of contact to an assigned project for contract compliance.
* Advise on contractual issues and communicate company risk across various business functions as necessary to executive leadership.
* Ability to address complex contract issues through resolution.
* Provide guidance on matters related to FAR interpretations, cost principals, and specific contract reporting issues.
* Ensure legal, regulatory, and contractual compliance.
* Manage large scale company improvement initiatives.
* Identify improvement opportunities across the enterprise.
* Develop schedule and milestones.
* Monitor and provide status of all improvement initiatives.
* Work with Executive Leadership to develop long range improvement strategies and plans.
* Develops and sustains relationships with stakeholders.
* Provide Executive Management visibility of Improvement Resource needs/requirements, periodically reporting on activities in process to the executive leadership team.
* Assigned Improvement projects, which requires direct involvement with multiple functional organizations by directing and controlling activities.
* These may include:
* Supply chain improvements
* Contract compliance business processes
* Proposal development
* Business System configuration
* Inventory utilization
* Information Management
* Human Capital and Labor Relations
* And other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
* US Citizen
* Grade 23: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 10 or more years of relevant experience
Desired Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in business administration, process management or operations.
* MBA/Lean Six Sigma experience.
* Auditing experience/skills.
* Previous DOE Hanford Procurement and Prime Contract experience.
* Five years’ experience in process optimization, operations, or business management.
* Demonstrated communicator with top-notch presentation skills.
* Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.
* Five years of experience in DOE Procurement processes and requirements.
* Demonstrated experience in dealing with sensitive or OUO information.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate’s education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
* Grade 23: $174,488 – $229,663
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
