Centerville-Washington Foundation Administrative Assistant

Purpose: Part-time (within 20-25 hours/month) to assist the Board in promotion and documentation of the CWF recognition and fundraising events through utilization of marketing, mailings, social media promotions, and continuous timely update of the CWF donor database, website, Facebook & social media accounts.

Reports to: VP CWF Board

Description:

• Works directly for the CWF Vice-President, who prioritizes the functions/assignments/tasks each month. Submits work product reports to the CWF Board at monthly meetings.
• Assists monthly with each of the CWF Committees to coordinate clear communication and tasks of the various projects underway meet timelines. Ensures collaboration between committees to prevent duplicative efforts by the CWF board members/volunteers.
• Establishes standard template for CWF policies/procedures/press releases
• Establishes cooperative relationship with CWF in-kind vendors (printing and AV) with appropriate recognition of their donations through the Board guidance.
• Ensures timely recognition to all CWF donors, through Thank You mailings, consistently updating the database, regular PO Box pick-ups, delivering checks to the DF on behalf of CWF gifts.
• At least twice-monthly postings on CWF website and social media accounts, refreshing the content, and coordinating the distribution of the Annual Report, and other key annual mailings.
• Consistent collaboration with the Dayton Foundation marketing/social media representative in relation to CWF promotions.

Skills required:

• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to interact successfully in verbal and written communication
• Active application with appropriate and timely social media posts
• Required to sign DF/CWF Independent Contractor agreement
• Must live in Centerville or Washington Township
