We are looking for a friendly professional who will assist the Human Resources team with onboarding and employee orientations and provide phone and clerical support to the HR department. This is a TEMPORARY position, although it may have the potential of going temporary to hire.
Here’s a chance to use your 1+ years’ office experience while you gain exposure and experience in Human Resources.
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to staff, visitors, and employees. You will assist with the coordination and logistics for new employee orientations, including assembling orientation packets and coordinating speaker schedules, arranging for catering and room set up, and welcoming and greeting attended. You will maintain and distribute updated materials for handbooks as well as policies and procedures. You will coordinate monthly meetings, compile and distribute meeting agendas and take meeting minutes. complete routine administrative work which will require proficiency with MS Office programs and email.

7:30 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Friday
$18.00 – $20.00/hour DOE

DESIRED CANDIDATES:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1 years + experience in an office in a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant role; prior experience in Human Resources would be a plus.
- Present a professional, friendly, can-do attitude
- Strong spelling, punctuation, vocabulary, proofreading and oral communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel)
- Accurate typing/data entry skills
- Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Drug screen and Background check required
