PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with lay leaders and staff to articulate a mission and identity for family ministry and religious education programs for children and youth, connecting to the needs of the congregation’s children, youth, and families.
Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate the Children’s Religious Education programs of the church, using internal and external resources,
Recruit, train, support, collaborate with, and manage Religious Education Volunteers.
Develop and implement family ministry, supporting parents in their roles as their children’s primary religious educators.
Working collaboratively with worship staff and lay worship associates, develop and implement multigenerational worship for Sunday worship services’ Time for All Ages, periodic full multigenerational Sunday worship services, and other circumstances as needed.
Support, collaborate with, and supervise Religious Education staff.
