Carleton College is seeking a Program Director for Alumni and Parent Engagement to recruit and manage a comprehensive volunteer network of alumni and parents to support the career development needs of students and young alumni. This position will coordinate programs and services connecting students to Carleton-affiliated industry resources as part of the career discovery, preparation, and attainment process.
The Program Director for Alumni and Parent Engagement will have numerous responsibilities in the areas of volunteer management, program management, and professional development support. Identify, oversee, and steward strategic volunteer efforts of alumni and parents across Career Center initiatives, coordinate career engagement initiatives connecting students to alumni and parents as career exploration resources, and provide career development services to assist seniors with their transitions to alumni.

The successful candidate possesses a master’s degree, experience working with volunteers, students, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds, and has proven abilities to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include proven ability to effectively recruit, manage, and cultivate volunteers and at least five years of related experience.
