Responsibilities

• Take on responsibility for anticipating, identifying, implementing, and assessing talent development solutions to ensure the growth and development of staff skills and capabilities
• Collaborate to build programs that align shared career growth priorities of the organization
• Own the learning & development lifecycle, including needs assessments, content and curriculum development, marketing and communications of the training programs, participant feedback evaluations, calculating ROI, and tracking analysis and reporting
• Combine instructional design and delivery knowledge, industry best practice data, and business knowledge to create comprehensive, innovative learning solutions and support for employees
• Create and deliver clear, effective, and compelling training
• Conduct training needs assessments and develop a learning plan aligned with strategic initiatives
• Design, implement and recommend new development initiatives
• Employ innovative tactics to drive behavioral change and strengthen leadership capabilities
• Track, recommend, and conduct mandatory trainings and disseminate related communications
• Continuously propose innovative solutions to improve talent processes and programs
• Collect, compile, and analyze data, implement surveys, create and manage communications related to learning outcomes
• Regularly review Learning and Talent program effectiveness, and implement improvements
• Manage training needs assessment and evaluation of ROI of training investments
• Own the development and implementation of company-wide talent assessment, talent development, succession planning, performance cycles, performance management, career planning and survey
• In collaboration with Director, manage talent review process ensuring equity and effectiveness
• Benchmark, develop, and execute activities and programs that promote staff engagement in a hybrid environment and develop programs that promote a culture of inclusion
• Build, execute, and interpret annual and ad-hoc surveys to better understand employee sentiment. Develop action planning to ultimately improve the employee experience

Qualifications and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• 6 years’ experience in Human Resources/ Talent Management functions or other relevant fields
• At least four years of relevant experience supporting human resources or talent management functions
• At least two years of relevant training,content development and delivery
• Experience and working knowledge of adult learning principles Industry knowledge of learning and development practices
• Human Resources policy development and implementation experience a plus
• Ability and willingness to work within an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment
• Demonstrated expertise in the design and implementation of training assessment and curriculum including employee, supervisory, leadership and management development program
• Ability to recognize and translate needs into viable solutions
• Analyze data and report insights and ability to generate accurate and timely reports to support business needs
• Experience with HRIS and LMS platforms
• Excellent interpersonal skills and high standards of discretion
• Sound critical thinking, research, project, and process management experience
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communications skills

Compensation

• Salary: $80,000-$95,000

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Alexandria, VA 22314
