Assistant/Associate Director of IT Administrative Systems
Full-time 12-month, Exempt Position
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant/Associate Director of IT Administrative Systems manages and directly supports the university’s student information systems (SIS) and its ancillary systems and applications in order to ensure institutional efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Assistant/Associate Director reports to the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Information Technology and works with the AVP to provide institution-wide direction in areas of system enhancements, integrations, upgrades, security and overall support of SIS.
Capitol Technology is a private, non-profit, university in South Laurel, Maryland with approximately 800 students and a dedicated full-time staff of 75. The Associate Director of IT Administrative Systems would be part of a team of 5 IT professionals. This position is a great opportunity for an IT professional looking to move into a leadership role.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires sitting occasionally for extended periods of time, and repetitive motions for tasks such as operating a computer mouse and keyboard, and hearing and speaking on the telephone. Position requires ability to crawl under desks/office furniture and access tight spaces. The candidate must be able to lift, pull, bend, grasp, and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs. Occasional exposure to outside elements may be required.
