Under the direct supervision of the Associate Dean of Students, the incumbent will serve as a Judicial Officer and adjudicate individual and organizational student conduct cases in accordance with the Student Affairs, University, and system-wide policies. The incumbent will act as a support to the Associate Dean of Students in identifying, discussing, investigating, evaluating, and monitoring student behavior which may or have resulted in university policy violations. Incumbent will also assist with the designing, implementing, and administering campus-wide student engagement, advocacy, and support that is equitable, inclusive, and provides culturally appropriate services to enhance the quality of campus life. The incumbent will work with the unit manager and staff to coordinate Beach Experience (XP) efforts to serve students and connect students to resources. Additionally, this position will provide support to the Cultural Welcomes and Cultural Graduation Celebrations.
Furthermore, the incumbent provides services that are equitable, inclusive and provide culturally sensitive services that enhance the quality of campus life. This position uses a student centered and equity minded approach in all communication and service efforts.

Medium work – Job involves lifting heavy-weight objects (20-40 pounds) and/or 20% – 40% of the job involves standing, squatting, kneeling, or walking. May require pushing or pulling objects within the weight limits.

Compensation
Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.
Hiring Range: $4,610 – $4,800 per month commensurate with candidate’s education, experience, skills, and training.
CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,610 – $6,556 per month.
Benefits

Time Base
1.0 time-base, 40 hours per week.
Duration of Appointment
This is a temporary position for 1 year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
