Job Summary
Accountable for the execution and delivery of HR products, services, and solutions in support of activities to ensure HR service delivery excellence.
Job Responsibilities
Provide direction and guidance to supervisors and employees on policies and procedures; guide the escalation and resolution of HR questions, issues and requests to the appropriate channels
Serves as payroll backup for all company locations
Plan and conduct new employee orientation
Assist managers and supervisors with performance reviews
May conduct and help create training on specific HR topics
Plan and organize employee events
Maintain confidential employee and organizational information
Assist with unemployment and worker’s compensation procedures as necessary
Assist with special projects as assigned by the Vice President of Human Resources
Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources
Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous payroll and benefits administration experience preferred. Knowledge of tribal employment law preferred.
