Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of customer service, sales or project management experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Computer literate (PC) and experience with MS Office with above average skills in Excel

• Displays a team-player attitude both within the Customer Service department and when communicating and collaborating with other key departments

Key responsibilities:

• Receive and manage incoming customer communications, presenting a positive customer- oriented impression at all times
• Ensure accuracy and completeness in all information given to customers and entered into the computer system and files
• Work cooperatively with other departments in complex situations in order to balance the interests of our customers, our vendors and the Company
• Understand the impact of independent decision making on the Company’s profit margin
• Develop and maintain a high level of proficiency in your area of expertise and be able to cross-train your peers
• Track sales trends and deliver presentations to management regarding your area of expertise
• Analyze bids and purchases orders that include complex federal regulations
• Educate and support the outside sales reps on the differences of doing business with government agencies.
• Possible travel to supplier meetings and training opportunities (less than 10% travel).

• Resolve complex problems that arise as part of the sales and delivery process
• Assist other administrative tasks as assigned

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive market-based salary. Most people start this position in the range of $47,500 to $52,000
