*About us* Bridge Receiving Center serves as a residential trauma-responsive care program for children who have just been removed from their homes and are entering the foster care system for the first time. Our program combines round-the-clock direct care for the children with supportive services, recreational activities and transition assistance to children ages 4 – 12 years old and their siblings (up to 17 years old) with the goal of reducing their felt trauma and helping them to navigate this time of transition in their lives. Children are able to stay for up to 30 days with the possibility of an extension of no more than 60 days. Bridge is licensed for up to 6 children at a time. Our Center is located in Lake Stevens WA. . Our work environment for the Part Time Admin Assistant includes: * Casual work attire * Flexible working hours * Work-from-home days *SUMMARY OF WORK PERFORMED: *Assist the management staff with administrative duties including human resource administration. *JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * 1. Maintain personnel files and upload into online database. 2. On-board new employees and off-board resigning and terminated employees. 3. Complete criminal background check authorizations, TB skin test authorizations, and driving history for new employees. 4. Backup for volunteer’s criminal background check authorizations, TB skin tests, and training. 5. Payroll Administration: on-boarding, off-boarding, backup approvals, vacation & sick leave monitoring. 6. Monitor pre-service staff training and annual training requirements. 7. Maintain employee and policy and procedures manuals. 8. Monitor L & I claims and unemployment inquiries. 9. Medical Insurance Administrator. 10. Assist in any Human Resouce duties as requested by management staff. 11. And or other duties as assigned. *REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * 1. Experience: Two years general administrative duties. 2. Computer Skills: Must be proficient in the Microsoft software package. 3. Customer Service: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to act professionally with all levels of the organization. Ability to prepare complete, concise and clear reports. 4. Maintain a high level of confidentiality. 5. Initiative: Able to anticipate what needs to be done and follows through. 6. Adaptability: Able to show consistent flexibility in adjusting to system, procedural, cultural, managerial and philosophical changes. 7. Ability to handle multiple details, tasks and deadlines. 8. Valid Washington driver’s license and acceptable driving record. 9. Record clearance free of criminal convictions. Must have a management philosophy that respects the value of people and seeks to maximize their potential in the work place. *DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * 1. AA degree in communications, administration or human resources. 2. Two (2) years human resource experience. 3. Have a working knowledge of the RCW and WAC codes that apply to foster care. 4. Experience working with children who have experienced trauma and can facilitate an environment utilizing trauma responsive care principles. 5. Experience and background in working with Children in Foster Care.
