$1,980.97 to $2,146.07 biweekly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Government Center/Viera. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Performs skilled professional work planning, coordinating, and managing the Brevardians Responding As Volunteers (BRAVE) and college and high school internship programs and providing training to County employees. Work includes assisting with recruiting and onboarding activities associated with the County’s volunteer and internship programs, participating in job fairs and other recruiting events, and conducting training classes for County employees.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Management, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field PLUSthree (3) years of experience in organizational development, employee training, or a closely related field. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Experience administering an intern and/or volunteer program is preferred. Experience in government is preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida Driver’s license and maintain said license during the term of employment. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
