Brandeis University seeks to hire a Manager, Post Award Grant Administration. This is a high-level post-award research administration
position responsible for the the post-award management, administration and oversight of a large and diverse portfolio of federal and
non-federal grants, contracts and sub-awards for several major research centers and institutes at The Heller School for Social Policy and
Management. Serves as the primary liaison between the University and principal investigators to ensure compliance with sponsor regulations
and University requirements. Works closely with principal investigators and researchers to provide financial information as well as advising
on fiscal matters when needed.
Job Description
While supervising a staff of three, manages post-award
requirements for designated departments, programs, centers or organizations.
Skills &
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. At least 5-8 years of related work experience.
To be successful, the ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and time management skills to achieve timely progress on
multiple simultaneous complex projects; meet tight deadlines, goals, objectives and maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy;
interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with staff & faculty, colleagues, campus departments and other outside
agencies.
Computer skills and experience in, but not limited to, Access, Word, Excel and the skills to manipulate, extract and
analyze data. Experience with Workday a plus.
