Duties and Responsibilities :
To support the Title III Grant Program Administration office in the following:
Grant Fund Management:· Administer and oversee the entire lifecycle of grant funds, from initial allocation to closeout.· Maintain a deep understanding of grant agreements, terms, and guidelines to ensure compliance.· Develop grant budgets.· Monitor and report on grant fund utilization and progress to ensure compliance and on-time delivery of outcomes.· Identify, track, and report on any budget variances and propose corrective actions as needed.Financial Analysis and Reporting:· Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses of grant funds, including forecasts, expenditure tracking, and performance metrics.· Provide timely and accurate financial information to support decision-making by senior management.· Conduct regular reviews and assessments of financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.Draw Down Funds:· Execute the timely drawdown of grant funds, ensuring adherence to grantor guidelines and deadlines.· Maintain accurate records of fund drawdowns, receipts, and expenditures.· Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile accounts and ensure funds are properly accounted for.Budget Development:· Collaborate with program managers and department heads to develop annual budgets.· Monitor budget performance against organizational goals and grant commitments.· Make recommendations for budget adjustments or reallocations as necessary.Compliance and Regulations:· Stay informed about grant regulations and compliance requirements.· Ensure that all grant-funded activities align with regulatory guidelines and audit readiness.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year professional experience in budget analysis, financial management, grant fund administration, or a related field. Strong understanding of grant regulations and compliance. Proficiency in financial software, budgeting tools, and Microsoft Excel. Prior experience with grant management software preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities :
Strong interpersonal skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, for grant and report writing, database management, and analysis. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail; General knowledge of general accounting principles; Ability to effectively communicate; knowledge of federal regulations, guidelines, and practices. Ability to independently execute responsibilities. Ability to interface professionally with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
