Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for an Accounting Technician!
Responsibilities
Perform general accounting and financial analysis activities, primarily focused on AR cash application and administration of customer resale tax certification process. Will also include the preparation of journal entries and reconciliation of cash and cash clearing ledger accounts. Maintain strong working relationships with internal credit personnel to provide strong customer communication and service. Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: HS Diploma, GED, or two (2) years equivalent work experience. Normal office environment with minimal physical exertion.
Preferred Qualifications: Typically more than three (3) years of experience in related job function. Role may require technical certification or associates degree. Requires effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills and proficient computer skills. Strong Excel skills required.
