We’re seeking a future team member in the role ofAssociate, Full-Stack Engineer to join ourChief Investment Office Engineeringteam. This role is Lake Mary, FL, and will work a Hybrid schedule (3 days per week in-office required).Candidate must reside within a commutable distance to this work location, as we are unable to accommodate 100% virtual work arrangements.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Contribute to a high-performing team of problem solvers from various disciplines who are committed to driving growth & innovation across the company.
Collaborate with data engineers, subject matter experts and developers across our global technology teams to build analytics solutions focused on value drivers and stakeholder experience.
Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth.
Demonstrate teamwork. Leverage existing products/functionality and promote reuse. Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices. Collaborate closely with all the other members of the team to take shared responsibility for the overall efforts that the team has committed to. Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions. Utilize local meetups to gain and share knowledge.
Provide application software development services or technical support in more complex situations.
Program well-designed, testable, efficient code.
Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to satisfy requirements and solutions.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree is preferred, 2-3 years of experience in a systems SCM environment, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
Working knowledge of Python and other data science-oriented programming languages, knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., Java) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js).
Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).
Familiarity with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, oAuth 2.0, Spring JPA and Spring Data libraries.
Familiarity with databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB), Web servers (e.g., Tomcat Apache) and UI/UX design.
Good understanding of containerization using docker images.
Understanding data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, meet deadlines, and simultaneously work on multiple projects.
Comfortable working across all levels of an organization, leveraging organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and time-management skills.
Practical understanding of Cloud technologies (Google Cloud, AWS, MS Azure).
Understanding of AI solutions and their implementations.
Understanding of security principles, relational databases and architecture design principles.
