Job Description:
Budget Title: Senior Staff Assistant (SL-3)
Salary: $60,000 – $65,000
The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department in the Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science seeks an Assistant to the Chair. This position supports the Chair to ensure the Chair is efficient and effective. This person would be an integral member of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and consequently would work closely with the faculty, members of the Dean’s Office, and other faculty and staff throughout campus.
The person in this position will work closely with the Department Chair of Electrical and Computer Engineering in:
This position works with all Watson College academic departments including the Dean’s Office, and other campus institutions including Office of the Provost; Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Student Records and Registrar Services; Course Building and Academics Space Management (CBASM); Sponsored Funds; Communications and Marketing; Sodexo; Physical Facilities; Business Office/Accounts Payable/Travel; State and Research Foundation Human Resources and Payroll; International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS); as well as several outside vendors.
