Job Description:
Binghamton University’s
Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Division of Occupational Therapy, seeks applications for a Doctoral Capstone Coordinator
(DCC) position for the OTD Entry-Level Program. This is a full-time, 12-month, core faculty in-person position. The DCC is responsible for
the capstone seminar series, capstone experience placements, and completion of the capstone project that aligns with the ACOTE standards.
Will work collaboratively with the OTD Program Director and faculty in the Occupational Therapy Division to advance Occupational Therapy’s
mission. The program has earned ACOTE Candidacy status and launched the inaugural class in Fall 2023.
Requirements:
The successful DCC candidate will be primarily responsible for the coordination, management, and
compliance of the capstone project and experience as set by standards of the Accreditation Council of Occupational Therapy Education
(ACOTE). The DCC will also ensure the quality and integrity of the capstone in conjunction with the requirements of the OTD program.
