Full Job Description

Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the primary focus for this position will be to help the organization grow, scale and retain excellent people! Adhering to our company’s mission, vision and values, you will assist in and help develop and manage HR functions of our business. This position is on-site.

The responsibilities of this position include:

• Responsible for executing the plant recruitment process including recruiting, managing applicants through our Applicant tracking program (Applicant Pro.)
• Propose, improve upon and lead programs that result in improved performance, career planning and recognition programs
• Help employees understand and navigate the various benefits and perks we offer.
• Maintains human resource information system records Champion safety culture. Facilitate safety sub-group and proactively promoting plant safety initiatives.
• Conducts exit interviews and provides feedback to management.
• Assists with performance management process
• Coordinate and manage employee celebrations, recognition and events
• Update policies accordingly and communicate changes to all employees.
• Works with HR Director to implement employee programs and other duties as assigned, at plant location.

Qualifications/Skills:

Required:

• Minimum of 2 years’ prior experience in a Human Resources manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 2 years in high volume recruiting in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 2 years of computer experience; must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with HRIS and payroll programs (UKG)

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent in business or related field preferred
• SHRM or HRCI certifications
• Familiarity with food manufacturing and GMP’s
• bilingual

• A desire to work in a fun, but busy manufacturing environment; willing to do whatever is needed
• Have a sense of urgency, as well as a sense of humor
• Motivated and able to organize self and prioritize tasks
• Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Must be able to act with integrity, maintain confidentiality

Physical Requirements

• Must be willing to wear required PPE when entering the manufacturing area. This includes hairnet, beard cover (if applicable), bump cap, steel toe shoes, safety glasses.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs on occasion.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time at a computer screen.
