The Human Resources Assistant will directly assist the Human Resources Manager with a wide range of projects related to HR compliance, recruiting, onboarding/orientation, employee benefits, and company programs.
Responsibilities
· Assist with recruiting processes, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting telephone and in-person interviews, and making job offers.
· Perform onboarding and termination.
· Gain familiarity with employment laws, especially regarding employment eligibility and confidentiality.
· Manage and maintain employee files in compliance to employment laws.
· Assist with payroll processing.
· Assist with employee benefits management in relation to plan renewal and open enrollment, benefits enrollment and termination, troubleshooting employee benefits issues.
· Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
· Additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications
· Excellent planning and time management skills
· Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
· High level verbal and written communications skills
· Discretion and confidentiality

Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour
