Reporting to the Workforce Development Director, you will support National & Homeland Security’s IDEAL Workforce Development Programs.
* Interns will help implement our summer camps and take part in the development of training materials targeted at high school students and teachers in the area of cyber-physical systems.
* Help develop cybersecurity lessons and lab exercises involving Raspberry Pis and computer systems. Including Python code, simple circuit design, encryption, networking, Wireshark, and servers.
* Development and research of STEM activities including puzzles and challenges to support Capture the Flag (CTF) activities or Cyber Escape Rooms.
* Web development and graphic design projects including the design and maintenance of cybersecurity camp curriculum and social media platforms and training efforts.
* Support the Inclusive, Diverse, Equitable, Accessibility and Inclusive program and help further the advancement of equity and removing barriers to equal opportunity to recruit, hire, develop, promote and retain a more diverse workforce.
This team works a 9×80 schedule onsite at our Cybercore Integration Center facility.
Vocational/technical college students or University freshman-senior students enrolled full time at an accredited college/university studying Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Human Resources, Business Management, or Graphic Design
A minimum overall 3.0 GPA
Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT)

Compensation and Benefits:
Undergraduate Internships ($25.65/hour – $30.70/hour)
Masters Internships and PhD Internships Pre-Candidacy ($31.75/hour – $34.06/hour)
PhD Internships Post-Candidacy ($33.75/hour – $36.06/hour)
Eligible interns are provided paid holiday time off, and many of our internships offer travel reimbursements.
