Bank of the Orient Hiring for Human Resources Manager Job at San Francisco, CA Full Time

BASIC FUNCTION: Position is responsible for understanding the unique business needs of the Bank and delivering superior Human Resource guidance and service to assist the organization in achieving the desired results. This individual will be responsible for proactively designing and implementing a variety of Human Resource and Organizational Development initiatives to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Demonstrates quality customer service principles with internal and external customers consistently.
• Performs to meet the Bank’s operating needs and to ensure that the Bank is in compliance with current laws, rules, regulations, and Human Resources practices.
• Recruitment: manages the staffing function including performing exempt and management level recruiting, as well as manages compliance of recruiting processes.
• Compensation and Benefits: Develops and supervises comprehensive programs for all Bank personnel that are cost-effective and competitive with those in other banks and financial institutions in the area. This includes salaries, benefits, and incentive compensation.
• Payroll and HRIS: manages and coordinates semi-monthly payrolls and the ensures the integrity of corresponding HRIS program.
• Policies and Procedures: Formulates and maintains policies and procedures. Facilitates consistent personnel management.
• Employee Relations: Counsels bank management on personnel activities and problems. Supervises all disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Develops and implements solutions to employee issues based upon ongoing knowledge of the environment and an analysis of situation-specific alternatives. Provide coaching and counseling assistance to management.
• Performance Appraisals: Establishes procedures for the periodic appraisal of employee performance and coordinates all appraisal activities to ensure that all employees are assessed with the maximum possible objectivity.
• Safety: Works with the Safety Managers to administers the Bank’s Illness and Injury Prevention Program, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for the employees.
• Workforce Planning: Assists in the establishment and implementation of long-range programs in the areas of manpower and organization planning to facilitate the growth and operation capacity of the bank.
• Develops and implements employee relations activities to maximize employee morale including surveys, communications, and bank-related social activities.
• Identifies trends and develops strategies to proactively address employee relations issues and concerns.
• Training: Assists in developing and coordinating all training and development programs to facilitate staffing and maximize employee potential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 – $121,000.00 per year
