Job Description/Details:

JOB TITLE: Patient Services Representative
CONTRACT DURATION: 13 weeks
SHIFT: Varies (see below)
LOCATION: Smyrna, TN
ONBOARDING TIME: expect 3-5 weeks from offer acceptance to start date.
SCHEDULE:

• Monday 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• Tuesday 10:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
• Wednesday 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• Thursday 10:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
• Friday 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• And one-half day on Saturdays every other month, possibly

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic knowledge of cash handling
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology PREFERRED
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but sometimes complex written or oral instructions
• Ability to perform basic mathematic calculations
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite: knowledge of eRAD software PREFERRED
• Two years of healthcare registration or customer service experience PREFERRED

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
REQUIRED: High School Diploma/GED

JOB SUMMARY:

The Patient Service Representative is responsible for acting as the first point of contact for patients by greeting, gathering information, registering, and posting payments. This position is critical to Solis Mammography: by providing outstanding patient care and maintaining the flow of the center, the Patient Service Representative impacts the profitability of the organization.
