The primary task of this position is to coordinate testing projects entering the laboratory.

Interactions include:

Receive materials into the laboratory.

Enter projects into the lab work system.

Determine project material requirements.

Discuss projects status information with customers and internal people.

Contact customers to clarify project details.

Support project costing.

Discuss delivery information.

Pitch in as needed running tests, cleaning the lab, preparing for workshops, hosting customer visits and so on.

Anticipated requirements:

Have a calm, diligent demeanor.

Must be able to methodically unravel complicated business systems.

Administrative skills typically associated with a business or operations degree.

Must be comfortable with computers and learning custom software.

Must have patience with customers that have difficulties communicating in English.

Some experience in a design, engineering, or testing environment.

This is a generalist position requiring a person with a business skill set.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 – $24.00 per hour
