Description:

Auto Europe is looking for an IT Project Manager to ensure effective delivery of a range of technical projects within our IT department. Success in this position will require broad IT/Website technical knowledge and the ability to be exceptionally organized managing a portfolio of projects/responsibilities.

Auto Europe is well-established travel industry leader, founded in 1954 and servicing over 2 million travelers annually. Our footprint spans the globe with main offices in Portland, Maine, Lisbon, Munich and Sydney.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage & Coordinate maintenance of web & desktop applications
• Manage assigned Website/IT projects to ensure adherence to schedule and scope of project
• Establish and implement project plans, providing regular status updates to stakeholders
• Evolving Project Management best practices at Auto Europe

Required Skills & Experience:

• Knowledgeable about websites from hosting to content management & everything in between
• Broad understanding of IT/Technical concepts
• Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning.
• Experience working directly with both stakeholders (Marketing) & Developers to translate needs into technical requirements
• 3-5 years’ experience managing website and IT projects
• Significant experience with Jira or an equivalent application
• Exceptional multi-tasking ability and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to quickly become proficient with a range of web/desktop applications and software used at Auto Europe

Bonus Skills & Experience:

• Experience / Education with Agile Framework
• Experience with source control and Bitbucket
• Any web development experience/knowledge

This position is located in Portland, Maine and is not a remote position. The ability to commute 2 days per week is required.
