Our client, a growing global shipping & Logistics company with an office in Jersey City. They are seeking a IT Support Specialist to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$75,000 – $85,000

Position Overview:

This onsite IT Support Specialist will be assisting the office manager with all desktop, end user, and system support in the office. This IT Support Specialist position is fully onsite in Jersey City. This is a 60%/40% (Windows/MAC OS) environment.

Responsibilities of the IT Support Specialist:

• Onboarding and offboarding users
• Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, or basic networking issues
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in person and remotely
• Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
• Supporting Windows 10 and MacOS laptops and desktops Supporting Office 365
• Deployment and maintenance of hardware including workstations, printers, mobile phones and other peripheral devices
• Maintain the office’s networking infrastructure and provide support in ensuring connectivity to remote offices
• Manage regional vendors such as ISP’s, telecom providers, Suppliers & others in liaison with the Director of IT & Information Security
• Inventory and maintain record of workstations/laptops in the configuration management database

Qualifications for the IT Support Specialist:

• 3 years of hands-on technical support experience, including remote support
• Experience supporting both Mac and Windows environments
• Experience supporting Office 365 and Google Workspace

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
