Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The below is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization.
- Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices and coding the invoices with appropriate company code, general ledger account and subaccount (cost center/affiliate) before entering it into accounting system.
- Upload and index all incoming bills and check requests into company’s invoice portal and route bills and check requests to appropriate reviewer for approval. Inspect paid and unpaid invoices including cleared payment inquiries and check voiding to maintain accurate files and records according to company standards.
- Review automatic payments to ensure correct coding and authorization as well as sufficient contracts and documentation and partner with refunds department to process payment to patients and payor overpayments.
- Verify the accuracy of data and approve employee expense reports for payment in concur T&E system.
- Create new vendors in accounting system ensuring that vendors have completed W-9, ACH form and code of conduct before set up.
- Generate payment to vendors on a routine schedule and match the check with backup for review by the financial manager.
- Provide accurate and timely solutions to internal clients and vendors regarding all aspects of accounts payable process.
- Assist with monthly financial close by tracking and providing necessary data to accounting for accruals to ensure expenses are recorded in the proper period.
- Assistance in annual financial audit done by outside consulting firm.

- High School Diploma or GED required

Work Experience:
- 10 years of related work experience is required
- Certification/Licensure: None Required

Knowledge and Technical Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- Microsoft SL accounting system knowledge is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with both internal and external customers and ability to manage tasks and workload to deliver timely results
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
