About Commercial IT
Commercial IT is a global IT capability supporting the Commercial organisation. We business partner with Commercial areas: Biopharma, Oncology, International and Japan – and also Rare Disease Unit. We operate out of hubs sites including in the UK, Sweden, US and out of our Global Innovation Technology Centres in India and Mexico – and in markets all over the world.

Job role
Working with Commercial IT leadership team, the change and communication lead will support successful delivery of global initiatives for Organisational Change Management and continuous improvement across all business unit of Commercial IT and cross functional IT, with effective governance and controls. They will develop key relationships with customers to build an in-depth understanding of priorities, gaining early insight into changing effective change and communication.
In addition, the role shall see the opportunity to take change led operations to a new level. A successful candidate will show strong evidence of willingness to complete through more innovative and efficient ways of working. With this, the ideal candidate has the ability and experience of either implementing change and communication controls and frameworks, or evidence of raising standards as part of a maturity roadmap.
Key accountabilities
Works with Commercial IT leadership to implement coordinated organizational change & communications plans for generating compelling and consistent internal communications materials to enable smooth implementation of the Commercial IT strategy and coordinated roadmap
Collaborate with the Commercial IT organisation to gather and analyse operational information and performance
Helps senior leaders deliver highly engaging communications (i.e., new monthly videos, cross functional communications)
Helps ensure communications are on-message and pushed through the appropriate channels. Supports development and consistent use of communication channels
Prioritises internal messages and act as gatekeeper
Helps handle inputs to internal Commercial IT portal, surveys, and related action tracking
Monitors and assists in gaining employee feedback through formal and informal communications
Ensures all communications share a unified look and feel that reflect the company’s business priorities and strategy
Plan, Coordinate and Manage the communication, learning and drop-in sessions for Commercial IT
Supports announcements for Commercial IT
Works in cross-functional collaboration and information exchange across a matrixed IT organisation
Provides feedback on the needs and issues of the Commercial IT teams to influence strategy
Support in developing organisational change strategies
Track portfolio progress and reporting
Support business impact assessment, identifying risks and issues that may affect current and future business units and roles, and build business readiness plan
Build positive relationships with customer groups, developing a deep understanding of the short-term and long-term business direction.
Work collaboratively with:
IT Strategy, Portfolio Management and Project/Programme Management functions to agree change and communication plans
commercial IT Business Partners, Capability Leads and Solution & Services leads to clearly define scope build aligned plans
Essential skills & experience
Degree level education / High school Diploma
Prior experience in an Information Services/Information Technology environment with good discernment
Experience in change management with proven track record to deliver global change initiatives
Corporate and internal communications experience
Proven track record to relate and respond to business needs in an IT environment
Experience in working in a technology/software delivery environment
Experience third party suppliers and have strong network and consulting skills
Ability to work well in and across diverse global teams
Relationship building skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good influencing, networking and team working skills
Skills in planning, change management and problem solving
A keen eye for producing engaging materials and artefacts
Ability to negotiation expectations with complex groups
Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language and vice versa
Resilient and able to deal with ambiguity
Experience in working in an Agile delivery organisation
Knowledge of bio-pharma industry
Experience with Digital and CRM technologies
Able to work and communicate with globally distributed teams
Ability to partner and work in a matrix organisation
