Business Operations Specialist
Job Description
The Global Outreach and Extended Education (GOEE) in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering is seeking a full-time Business Operations Specialist. This integral part of our team will facilitate the daily business and operations for GOEE. This includes processing expenditure requests, reimbursements, accounts receivables, and other functions ensuring adherence with established policies, regulations, requirements and standards of the University and sponsoring sources. This position will also be responsible for utilizing recruitment and HR systems to transact hiring of various positions.
Under general supervision of the Business Operations Specialist, Sr, the incumbent will be responsible for performing in a variety of daily administrative and financial functions in a complex academic unit with significant research and global emphasis. The successful applicant will maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and vendors as well as handle confidential and sensitive information, use software applications as it applies to the position, be skilled in policy and procedures, manage multiple projects simultaneously, work with short deadlines, communicating, participating and working collaboratively and effectively with staff in an environment subject to rapidly changing priorities.

Essential Duties
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND three (3) years of related experience; OR, Seven (7) years of related experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
