Job Description
This position is in the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences (New College), Office of the Vice Provost and Dean. New College is located on ASU’s West Campus in Glendale, Arizona. Under the direct supervision of the Research Advancement Admin Senior, the Business Operations Specialist-Sponsored Projects (BOS-SP) will perform post-award duties for grants (and related sources of extramural funding) obtained by New College faculty and staff.
Candidates for the position will have excellent customer services skills, as well as knowledge of and experience with grant management to include post-award financial and processing activity. The role of this BOS-SP position is to be a resource to faculty, to the unit/school financial leads, to the college research advancement team and the college financial team. The BOS-SP will work with faculty principal investigators (PIs) and the unit fiscal management teams to provide seamless customer service to PIs. The BOS- SP will also ensure all externally sponsored research activities are compliant with federal, sponsor, and ASU guidelines and policies.
Salary Range:
$50,000 – $58,000 per year; DOE

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND three (3) years of related experience; OR, Seven (7) years of related experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
