Job Description
ASU TRIO Programs seeks a Coordinator for the TRIO Student Support Services (SSS/STEM) programs at the Downtown campus. Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Coordinator performs a variety of professional activities for achieving program objectives. The Coordinator supports students’ academic, personal and professional goals to help them retain and graduate from ASU. The ideal candidate works independently, is a strong individual contributor, as well as an effective team player, who can meet priority deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality, as well as develop a strong rapport with our students. The ideal candidate must work well in a fast‐paced, flexible environment, provide a high level of customer service to both the university and external communities, and make strong contributions both as an individual and as a team player.

$42,000 per year

Essential Duties
DAYS AND SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM; May include extended hours, some evenings and weekends. Job location is primarily at the Downtown Campus; however incumbent may occasionally be required to travel to other ASU campuses and throughout the valley to perform work as well as chaperone in-state and out-of-state field trips.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND three (3) years of related experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

TRIO Programs serve as resource and voice for first-generation, low-income students and students with disabilities. Educational Outreach and Student Services (EOSS) is committed to enrolling all qualified students at Arizona State University and assisting them in their academic success. EOSS has direct responsibility for multiple departments across four campuses, some of which include the Dean of Students, University Housing, Health Services, Counseling Services, Disability Resources, the Memorial Union, Sun Devil Fitness, Student Government, Student Media, Career Services, Access ASU including TRIO Programs and others
